Haloxylon as a dry resistant plant, have been used widely to stabilize over 100,000 hectar sandy areas in Yazd province. Most of these stands have recently been infected by seed pest Poceratia caesariella Regonet (Lep.: Pyralidae). In order to evaluate the impact of three bio-product (dimilin, bactospein and delta B.T.) as well as fozalone insecticide on the pest, a randomized complete blocks design was used with 5 treatments (including control) and four replications. Prior to applying the compounds, the number of live larvae were recorded The live larvae were counted at one and two weeks interval. Data were corrected using Abbott formula and results were analyzed. Comparing means of treatments (Dunken skills) showed significant differences between fozalone and the other compounds. Effects of three biological products were appeared gradually after seven days of application and Bactosepine with 54% had the best impact (p<0/05). After 14 days, Delta B.T with 53% was the best. Meanwhile, in the case these products would be applied in oviposition period of the pest, young larvae would have longer time to feed on the products and thus better results should be expected.
