Acidic precipitation effects onpinus eldarica Medw. in east of Tehran (Ghochak artificial forest)

Abstract

In this project, effect of acidic precipitation (wet and dry deposition) on vegetation cover of Ghochak artificial pine forest (Pinus elderica species) was studied. The qualitative specifications of pinus eldarica species was also studied. In the next step anions and cations in leaftexture oftree and soil of park was analyzed. The anions and cations which were analyzed including:, , and , , , , Pb, Zn, Mn, Fe, Al. At the end, qualitative and quantitative specifications of vegetation cover (pinus eldarica Medw.) were tested with pollution values in atmospheric deposition by demonstrated statistical experiment. There was high significant correlation between loss of vegetation cover qualitative specifications and increasing pollutant concentrations in atmospheric depositions. pH of rain was about neutral level but at the first raining, acidic condition (Ph : 5) was obtained. There was high concentration of Nox acidic factor in rain but pH was in neutral level because of high concentration of Alkali metals in rain. Dry deposition of atmosphere were deposited based on gravity. With increasing distance from source of pollution (Tehran city), value of dry deposition was decreased. Concentration of Pb (Hazardous metal) was detected in poisonous level in leaf texture of pinus eldarica but there was deficit in some of essential elements in leaf texture. In basis of analyzing soil element, concentration of  (Hazardous metal) was in trace level.
