Iranian Journal of Forests and Rangelands Protection Research (IJFRPR) is published semi-annually by the Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands (RIFR) since March 2002(License No. 18442/124 of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance). Scientific degree was awarded to the journal by Ministry of Science, research and Technology (License No. 3/1000381 - 29/7/2012).

The Journal of "Iranian Journal of Forests and Rangelands Protection Research" is a quarterly journal with open access. This means that articles can be accessed and downloaded in full text immediately after publication on the journal's website.
