Aims and Scope

The Iranian Journal of Forests and Rangelands Protection Research (IJFRPR) publishes high-quality, cutting edge original research representing complete studies and research advances dealing with the Forests and Rangelands Protection:

1- Ecology, biology, physiology and population genetics of insects and other arthropods, rodents, plant pathogens, invasive plants in forests, afforestation areas, rangelands, deserts, medicinal plants and fast-growing trees.

2- Integrated pests, diseases and invasive plants management in forests and afforestation areas, rangelands, deserts, medicinal plants and fast-growing trees.

3- Identification, introduction and protection of genetic resources of beneficial arthropods and micro-organisms and edible mushrooms in order to preserve biodiversity in the forests and rangelands.

4- Identification and introduction and exploitation of biological control agents, non-chemical agents and plant extracts to control plant pests and diseases in the forests and rangelands.

5- Introduction of new quarantine methods, plant health methods, reduction of environmental pollutants and fire protection in forests and rangelands.

6- Investigation on the role of human manipulations and different management methods in the destruction of forests, rangelands and desert areas and introduction the new management methods.

7- Introduction of the new methods in monitoring and forecasting climate change and other natural calamities in forests and rangelands.
